Free theme

Hello! 
As today is a free theme. I want to talk about anthropology, which is the career I study. I think it's important to know about the pioneers in this discipline so today, i will going to talk about a person expert on my field that i admire, his name is Franz Boas. He was German- American and he is an anthropologist better know as " The father of  American Anthropoly" . Franz Boas was born on 9th july 1858 and died on 21th december 1942.Apart from the Anthropoly, Boas studied physics and geography. 
One day, Boas traveled to Canada and then, he was fascinated with the culture and the language of the indigenuos in the place. 
This was the moment when everything change and he focused in the study of the cultures. With his studies and ethnographies,Franz Boas reforms the Anthropoly. He broke the dichotomy between nature and culture. He says that the evolution is not unilinear, actually, the  evolutionary stages can be simultaneous. The author said that de concept of race is false, the cultures are relatives,  and the universalism is not all de truth. All of this, are the reasons because i like him.It's very simple, we have to know about the world consider all the facts of the culture and its categorys.
